Bauma is a triennial trade fair. Messe München GmbH organises the event once every three years at Messe Munich. The fair takes place at the venue for seven days and features several hosting hours. Bauma 2019 took place as a face-to-face exhibition between 8.10.2019 and 14.10.2019 at Messe Munich. It exceeded the participation record set by the 2016 rendition. This is due to a total of 620 000 trade visitors and 3702 exhibitors visiting the fair. Over 200 countries and regions attended. Among them were Australia, Russia, Switzerland, and others. 

Bauma 2022 Edition

Bauma 2022 greatly exceeded the expectations of the mining and construction industries. It was a hybrid event, with a live aspect held in Messe Munich and a digital platform between 24.10.2022 and 30.10.2022. Due to the removal of Germany's pandemic-related restrictions, the live aspect did not include Covid-19 safety measures. This was lauded by the around 3,200 exhibiting companies from 60 nations (65% from overseas) and more than 495,000 attendees from over 200 countries (50% from foreign nations).
